Kingston Arts Workshops
This Saturday, Kingston Arts presents two exciting programs with their Artists in Residence and you still have time to book your place. Call today on 9556 4440. After the demonstrations, join in the fun of the Night Art Market from 4pm – 10pm.
1: Painting from Life with Oils - A workshop with Stephen Doyle
PLACES ARE LIMITED
Beginning with a brief demonstration to share his own style and technique, award winning painter, Stephen Doyle won't make you wait long before you can pick up your brush and create your own work under his tutelage.
Throughout the workshop, Stephen will work with you personally to refine your painting and take your technique to a new level.
Please note: This workshop is not suitable as a first art workshop. Materials will not be supplied. Artists will need to come equipped with their own easel, palette, paint and brushes.
Light refreshments will be supplied by Kingston Arts.

2: Silk Painting Demonstration with Sharon Percival
PLACES ARE LIMITED
Sharon Percival, winner of the 2012 Scarf Festival's 'Scarf of the Year' award, is set to open her studio for a much anticipated silk painting demonstration.
Hear how slivers of daily life inspire Sharon and be inspired by her passion for her craft and by the beauty of the fine art she creates.
Working daily from Studio 2 in the Kingston Arts Centre, Sharon paints with oils on linen, watercolours on yupo, with pastels on paper and on silk using transparent textile dyes. Fine art Sharon has created can be found in private collections around the world.
Light refreshments will be provided by Kingston Arts.
