Street Art Schmooze
There are still some tickets up for grabs for Kingston Arts' free artist forum this Sunday exploring issues around Street Art.
Schmooze - Street Art will be held on Sunday 14th April at 2pm presenting be a lively discussion stimulated by three industry leaders, James Beattie (street artist), Alison Young (Professor of Criminology at Melbourne University) and Alex McCulloch (Director Metro Gallery).
Book by 5pm on Friday or come along on the day and pick up a ticket.

ENJOY THE SPOKEN WORD
A warm welcome awaits those who visit Mordialloc Neighbourhood House on the first Saturday of the month at 4 pm.
Spend a joyous hour or so with folk who love words! Members of the Spoken Word vocal choir titled "Making Waves" meet to indulge in inspiring poems, amusing rhymes and other gems of language. It's enjoyable, sociable and different.
Mordialloc Neighbourhood House is directly opposite Mordialloc Sporting Club on the service road of Nepean Highway.

2012: September: KAN AGM
We are pleased to announce that the accounts have been audited and we are now able to hold the KAN AGM on Thursday, 6 September 2012 at 7pm in the Mentone RSL, Victoria Room. Friends of members are most welcome to attend. Meet for dinner at 6pm if you wish at your own cost. (RSL Dining Room serves excellent meals – dine prior to the AGM).
Please read attachments in the email sent to all Members and forward back to us as appropriate, particularly if you are unable to attend this meeting.
Also attached to the email is a membership renewal form. We encourage you to renew your membership by the due date, otherwise you will be deemed as an unfinancial member and your profile will be removed from the KAN website.

(near the Cheesecake shop) At the room behind the Church. You are invited to bring something of your own artistic output for the Show and Tell segment of the meeting (or just listen to other artists speaking about their work).
Then have fun with SKETCHING - members of the Joy of Art group will share some of their ideas about the importance of sketching - bring 4B pencil and sketch pad if you have one. See you there!
